Restocking
The sale is done. What do the records show?
When sales, stock and payments are recorded separately, owners have to piece them together. Smartup POS connects these operations in the store's records.
What is in stock?
Goods receipts and sales show what remains to sell and what needs restocking.
What has been paid?
A payment can be matched to its sale.
What is still owed?
Customer receivables and supplier payables are recorded separately.
One product, from receipt to restocking
An illustrative workflow: receive goods, record a sale, review payments and plan the next purchase. Product quantities are examples.
Receive goods
Record the goods receipt and stock balance. The supplier’s electronic invoice belongs to this document workflow.
Record a sale
Record the product and customer payment. In the checkout example, selling two units changes stock from 24 to 22.
Review balances
Compare sales and payments. Customer receivables and supplier payables are recorded separately.
Plan replenishment
Identify what needs restocking. The B2B Marketplace connection lets you place a supplier order under agreed rules.
The cashier, inventory staff and owner
The cashier records sales, inventory staff manage goods, and the owner reviews payments and balances. We agree on the workflows needed for your store.
Cashier
Record the sale and customer payment.
Inventory staff
Receive goods, check stock and prepare purchases.
Owner
Compare sales, payments and outstanding balances.
From checkout to store management
Everyday tasks for staff and owners in one ERP: what sold, what remains, what was paid and what is still owed.
Sales
Record retail sales and customer transactions.
Inventory
Track goods receipts, stock movements and balances to plan purchases.
Finances
Connect payments to retail transactions and monitor money movements.
Taxes
Maintain tax records based on store transactions, with settings tailored to your business.
Product marking
Work with goods subject to digital product marking. Product categories and required connections are agreed during setup.
Receivables and payables
Track amounts owed by customers and to suppliers separately from settled transactions.
Bring orders and documents into one system
Customer orders and supplier documents serve different purposes. Smartup POS brings both workflows together.
Marketplace orders
Receive online orders for processing by the store. Connected marketplaces are agreed during implementation.
Electronic invoices
Receive electronic supplier documents and use them in the goods receipt workflow. The provider and exchange format are agreed for the project.
What to check before connecting POS
Compatibility checks need specific models, versions and services. Start with a list of what you use today; we can clarify missing details during the discussion.
| Connection | What to check |
|---|---|
| Checkout and equipment | Checkout device, scanner and printer models, operating system and version. |
| HUMO | Payment terminal model, bank and HUMO connection terms. |
| UZCARD | Payment terminal model, bank and UZCARD connection terms. |
| Uzbekistan banks | Bank name, required operations, available format and direction of data exchange. |
| Fiscal requirements and marking | Country of operation, fiscal receipt requirements, marked product categories and services in use. |
| Online orders and e-invoices | Marketplace and e-invoice provider names, required documents, statuses and available exchange methods. |
This is a checklist, not a list of compatible equipment. HUMO and UZCARD do not imply support for every terminal model; tax records and product marking do not confirm every fiscal configuration.
From stock on the shelf to a supplier order
The Smartup B2B Marketplace connection links stock information to purchasing. Before configuring automatic orders, confirm available suppliers and products, the stock data source and replenishment rules.
Replenishment needs
Review stock levels and when they were updated to identify which products need replenishing.
Purchasing terms
Confirm supplier and product availability for your outlet, along with payment and delivery terms.
Supplier order
The order is sent to the supplier under the agreed rules. Confirm stock availability, processing and delivery terms with the supplier.
Preparing for POS setup
Tell us whether you are opening a store or moving from another system, and how many outlets and checkouts you have. We can then agree on data, connections and transaction checks. A data export is not needed for the first conversation.
Data at the migration date
For migration, agree on the source system, products and units of measure, stock and outstanding balances as of a chosen date. Identify who at the store will check the data before import.
Connections and responsibilities
Review equipment and services against the checklist above. For each connection, clarify availability, required data and the people responsible at the store and provider.
Checks and training
Agree how to check goods receipt, sale, payment and the stock change for one product. Use these operations to define training for the cashier and the person responsible for store records.
For the estimate, distinguish POS usage, setup, data migration, integrations and training. Clarify equipment and provider costs separately, including one-time and recurring payments. Scope and timing depend on your configuration review.
Questions about Smartup POS
How do we migrate products, stock and outstanding balances?
Agree on products and units of measure, stock balances, customer receivables and supplier payables as of a chosen date. Clarify the export format, who will reconcile the data and the import process. Scope and stages depend on your current system and data quality; a ready export is not required to start the discussion.
How does Smartup POS differ from checkout software?
Smartup POS manages retail operations across sales, inventory, finances, taxes, product marking, receivables, payables and external integrations.
Does it support HUMO, UZCARD and banks in Uzbekistan?
Product capabilities include HUMO, UZCARD and Uzbekistan bank integrations. This does not confirm compatibility with every terminal or bank. The check requires your terminal model, bank, connection method and required operations.
Can it receive marketplace orders?
Yes. It supports receiving marketplace orders and, separately, working with electronic supplier invoices. Available connections and formats are agreed during implementation.
How does POS connect to Smartup B2B Marketplace?
Smartup POS connects to Smartup B2B Marketplace for purchasing and automatic ordering. First check suppliers and products for your outlet, along with the source and update frequency of stock data. Then agree ordering rules, payment and delivery under the supplier’s terms.
What is needed for a connection estimate?
Provide the number of stores and checkouts, current system, data to migrate, equipment and required integrations. We agree on POS usage terms and the scope and cost of work for the project. We separately clarify equipment and third-party costs where needed, and which payments are one-time or recurring.
