Home appliances and electronics distribution - from model and serial number to delivery and return
Connect the model and serial number to the order, warehouse, delivery and return. Teams can review the selected unit, its reservation, documents and next action.
Catalogue by brand, model, article and serial numberThe seller sees the model, price and available stock while preparing the order
One order - several points of risk
From model selection to delivery
Home appliances and electronics require the variant, serialized unit, customer terms, reservation and bulky goods delivery to stay connected before the order is confirmed. The model lacks an exact variant
Colour, configuration, size or regional version is clarified after the order - the reservation then has to be changed manually.
The serialized unit loses its document trail
Receiving, shipment, delivery and return live in separate records - the product history has to be reconstructed.
Sales cannot see execution constraints
Stock exists, but the unit is reserved, held in another branch, requires a separate delivery or the order is on credit hold.
Governed catalogue
Category, model and variant
Switch scenarios to see the model, variant, serial tracking rule, price, availability and customer terms in one decision workspace.Illustrative models, prices and stock. The catalogue, attributes, master data owners and commercial rules are agreed separately for each implementation.
Serialized unit traceability

Return and warranty related claim
Service requests and unit history
The system preserves the link between customer, product, document, reason and decision. Repair operations remain in the service centre system unless they are explicitly included in scope.Decision by role
The order from each team’s view
The model, serialized unit, reservation, document and financial fact stay connected - only the decision changes by role. Can we confirm this exact variant to the customer?
Sees
Catalogue, price, available reservation, customer terms and order execution stage.
Acts
Confirm the model, select another warehouse or approve a replacement.
Order validation through delivery or return
The seller sees the model, price and available stock while preparing the order
A serialized unit is traceable through receiving, shipment and return documents
Delivery and the customer request remain linked to the same order instead of separate messages
Debt and available credit are checked before shipment is confirmed
Solution boundary
Smartup connects the catalogue, serial tracking, order, warehouse, delivery, settlement and return within the agreed implementation scope. Warranty policy, service centre repair operations, transport optimisation and master data ownership are defined separately for each project.
Questions before implementation
Do we need to replace our current ERP or service system?
No. Smartup can operate alongside the existing ERP and exchange the agreed master data, orders, stock, documents and statuses. The service centre system can remain the owner of the repair process.
How does the first productive scope start?
The catalogue and serial tracking rules, master data owners, warehouses, reservation and credit rules, delivery statuses and acceptance criteria are agreed first. With source data ready, the first productive scope can launch from four weeks.
