CHANNEL PERSONALIZATION

Your customer’s catalogue and terms

B2B Ordering gives your customers a channel to order from your company, with their assigned assortment and prices. Smartup B2B Marketplace serves a different purpose: connecting buyers with manufacturers and suppliers.

Selected scenario

Traditional retail

What the customer sees: SKU and categories assigned to the individual outlet.
Rules applied: Pack multiples, minimum order value and eligible promotion terms.
Financial context: Credit limit and overdue balance appear only when the exchange and permissions are configured.

DIRECT ORDER PATH

From catalogue to order validation

Customers select products and submit an order in Telegram. Smartup checks the terms, passes the order to fulfilment and returns its status to the customer.

Current step

Personal catalogue

The customer opens its assigned assortment, product images, categories and available terms.

What the system validates: Customer rights, assortment, contract and active promotions.
Next action: Show only permitted products and terms.

EXCEPTIONS BEFORE CONFIRMATION

Exceptions and owners

Explore typical outcomes. The system should not merely stop an order: it should explain the reason, assign the next action and return a confirmed status to the customer.

Validation result

Terms are current

Situation: The products are available, and the rules and credit context allow the order.
Outcome: The order is confirmed without manual correction.
Owner: Automated Smartup workflow

DATA AND STATUS

Telegram and order rules

Before launch, the project defines the sources for catalogue, prices, stock, receivables and statuses. The channel therefore does not become another database that teams must reconcile manually.

The exact fields, update frequency and responsibility for delayed data are agreed separately for every project.

DECISIONS BY ROLE

Responsibilities across the order

Sales, customer service and IT agree on order terms, exception handling and data exchange before connecting customers.

Commercial Director

Which customers should receive self-ordering, and how do we keep the sales model governed?

Decision: Approve the segments, assortment, terms and rules for handing an exception to an employee.
What to request in a demonstration: A customer catalogue, segmentation and an order that fails validation.

Product and channel boundary

Direct ordering in the sales model

B2B Ordering is one governed ordering channel: it does not replace ERP, expose all customer data by default or remove the sales representative where a visit, consultation or approval is still required.

For the ordering-channel decision

Objections to resolve

Direct ordering must remain a governed channel: customers see only their approved catalogue and terms, while exceptions return to an accountable employee.

Will the direct channel replace the sales representative?

Not necessarily. The company decides which customers may self-order and where a visit, consultation or employee confirmation remains part of the process.

Will customers always see current prices and stock?

Only with an agreed source and tested exchange. Acceptance should cover delayed data, an unavailable item and a term change before order confirmation.

Are all customer workflows included by default?

No. B2B Ordering is one governed ordering channel. Catalogue, financial context, notifications and exceptions depend on permissions and the agreed project scope.
